• Leadership potential: Our desired students show their ability to take a leadership role in their work experience. Ideally, this is reflected through a management position, but other leadership roles may be suitable as well.
  
• Academic achievement: Our program requires an undergraduate degree such as a Bachelor’s degree.

Studienplan und Studienschwerpunkte

• The MBA program consists of 12 modules, two modules per term, with a total of six terms (three terms per year).
  
• The MBA consists of ten mandatory modules and two elective pairs.
  
• Assignments are done during each module.
  
• Each MBA module will include an exam. The exam typically takes two hours, and the exam date will be published well in advance.
  
• The MAS adds a 13th component, the business plan project, to the MBA which is mandatory. With regards to this component, you will do an MAS
  parallel to the four last MBA modules.
  
• The entire program is thus completed in two years.
  
• The three terms are: Nov–Feb, Mar–Jul and Aug–Oct.
  
• Classes take place on Saturdays from 08:15 to 16:45 (a Friday class will take place if a sufficient number of students enrol).
  
• The total study load for the MBA-MAS program is about 1,850 hours: 540 hours of in-class work, 400 hours of e-learning, 650 hours of assignment
  work and 250 hours of exam work.
  
• We thus advise you to reduce employment to a maximum of 80%; however, you may also participate in the study program while being employed full-time.
  
• For each module, four lecture days at HWZ are provided (for the whole MBA, a total of 48 days), complemented by e-learning support and independent study.
