Berufsbild und Karrierechancen Typical students of this program are entry- to mid-level managers working in an international environment. They are between 30 and 40 years of age, see the degree as a career investment and/or door-opener for higher duties, and may have a corporate sponsor. They typically work and live in Switzerland (potentially Singapore) but may be international in origin. They speak English at least on the level of a Cambridge FCE Grade B and have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any subject.

Studienplan und Studienschwerpunkte Semesters build on each other in a modular fashion. Due to this setup, it is possible for students with a prior business degree to enter directly into the specialization phase and complete the MAS in one year. In addition to a strong focus on transferable professional skills and problem-solving abilities, students acquire sound scientific and methodological capabilities. At PHW Business School students have the unique opportunity to attain an internationally recognized postgraduate degree (Master of Advanced Studies or Executive Master of Business Administration) entirely in English. This means that, contrary to many comparable programs, students do not learn English as part of the curriculum but instead study all subjects in English. The advantages for students are clear:by learning about business and management in the lingua franca of the global marketplace and with curricula comparable to other business schools around the globe, their confidence is increased and their skills become much more transferable. Academically, all these programs are run under the aegis of the Kalaidos UAS’s International Management Institute.
