Programme

The ability to effectively, efficiently, and creatively market products and services internationally is a key success factor. Building on the international management module, this course in international marketing has been designed to address this fact by introducing students to principles of successful international marketing and enabling them to apply the acquired knowledge to real-life marketing tasks and problems.

The master degree program EMBA takes four semesters (part-time) and leads to a federally recognized master’s degree from Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences. The two-semester foundation course provides a solid grounding in business administration and management.

By choosing a specialization in the 3rd semester, and a special focus in the 4th semester, students can adapt their studies to their individual needs. If you choose to take only the foundation stage or the 3rd semester or a 4th semester specialization, you will gain a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS).

Our study programs are flexible. It is possible to interrupt your studies for up to a maximum of one year, for professional or private reasons.

Admission Requirements:
  • Graduation from a university, university of applied sciences or higher national diploma course.
  • If you have another degree please contact our study counsellor in order to have your documents checked.
  • At least two years’ business experience since attainment of highest previous degree.
  • Candidates have at least an officially recognized English certificate on European level B2 or have successfully passed the free PHW English admisstion test

Cross-Cultural Business Module in Asia

The Business Forum of Kalaidos University

The Platform for Current Topics
During regular studies, it isn’t always possible to deal with themes of special topical interest in great depth. For this reason, Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences organizes a Business Forum during each semester. For two days, acknowledged experts give lectures on four sets of topics of current interest, which all have a common overarching motto. In 16 events, various – frequently controversial – aspects of a current issue are examined. Adopting the principle ‚From the global to the personal’, four lectures each on a thematic block will identify global trends, consider their transfer and implementation at corporate level, present expert opinions and discuss the implications for a students’ personal work.

The Business Forum is aimed at students of Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences, at former students, and at interested executives from all sectors and company sizes. It is therefore more than just a teaching event: It offers an opportunity for networking and interesting discussions with personalities from the fields business, politics, social science and humanities.

PHW Business School is part of the federally accredited Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences, one of only eight such universities accredited in Switzerland by the Swiss Federal Council.

The program is run by PHW Business School and the university’s International Management Institute (which is responsible for all international operations of the school).
