This CAS has been developed in response to the growing need in academia to offer Bachelor’s and Master’s courses through English. It offers lecturers the unique opportunity to learn the principles of teaching in higher education together with the language through which their teaching takes place.

This CAS aims to provide you with a bridge between the theory and practice of English as a medium of instruction in higher education. Based on the latest insights from research, the course aims to present you with the knowledge and tools to deal with the challenges posed by a changed communicative environment.
These challenges may occur in the planning, delivery or assessment of courses. In this CAS, you will acquire a greater awareness of the role of language, culture and communication in didactics.
